This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
this was supposed to be a happy post and all, but i'm in a bit of a bad mood. i've gathered the courage to show this story i've been writing for a while to some people, and through this experience i've learned a few things. -the writing world is extremely competitive. perhaps more so on the internet than anywhere else. -i know far too little about the mechanics of writing to be successful. i've gone wrong somewhere and it seems like there are so many mistakes i'm making i would be impossible to fix them all. -you can't please everyone. and i know i have to get better at taking criticism. -writers are strange creatures and i am far from ever being one, thank goodness.
so, i guess this just leaves me with the conclusion that i still like to write, and that's really what matters. i like the things i put on paper and they sound nice to me, so i'll keep putting them haha (: that's just fine by me. happy new year everyone. i hope it's a really great one. <3
